ORLANDO (Oct. 15, 2007) — On October 26, lovers of fine wine and cuisine will take a culinary journey to Spain without ever leaving Orlando. Rosen Centre in Orlando is celebrating the “art of the vine” and the art of award-winning cuisine with the “Rosen Centre Vine and Dine,” a wine-pairing dinner series with an international flair. The four-part series explores a different region of the world with each dinner, featuring specialty cuisine perfectly paired with that region’s best-suited wines.

“We are incredibly proud of this year’s series and the overwhelming response from our guests,” says Ben TenEyck, Food and Beverage Director, Rosen Centre. “Next year we’re expanding the series from four to six evenings throughout the year and look forward to creating even more tantalizing menus for our guests to experience the best wines and most memorable dishes from around the world.” The Rosen Centre 2008 “Vine and Dine” Series Wine Dinner are Friday evenings: January 25, March 28, May 30, July 25, September 26 and November 28.

The fourth and final dinner of the 2007 series is “Savor the Flavor of Spain,” Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. in the hotel's Everglades restaurant. The event features an evening of the best wines from the region, with renowned wines including Group Osborne. The series finale will feature a different region and an array of wines with a five-course, prix fixe menu. The dinner is $65 per person (plus tax & gratuity). Space is limited. The pleasing pairings for “Savor for the Flavor of Spain” begin upon entering — guests are welcomed with a refreshing glass of Osborne Solaz Blanco 2006 to cleanse the palate for a night of exquisite culinary creations led by new Executive Chef Michael Rumplik and Specialty Restaurant Chef Fred Vlachos. The trip through Spanish cuisine begins with a Golden Gazpacho and Tierra de Castilla Artichoke and Serrano Ham with Lemon Onion Sauce accompanied by a Bodegas Montecillo Blanco 2005, Rioja.

A Sangria Sorbet is offered before presenting the exquisite dinner featuring Seafood Paella with Assorted Seafood in Lobster Saffron Rice paired with Osborne Senorio Del Cid, Crianza 2001, Ribera Del Duero and Roast Lamb Rack with Honey Allioli served with Roasted Eggplant, Pepper, Onion, Tomatoes and braised Astrurian Beans perfectly complimented by a Bodegas Montecillo Gran Reserva 1998, Rioja.

For dessert, a palate pleasing trio; Almond Torte with Orange Syrup Reduction accompanied by an Osborne 10 Year Tawny Porto, Fresh Cheese, Honey and Figs accompanied by an Osborne PX 1827 Sherry and Cream Catalan paired with Conde de Osborne Solera Gran Reserva Brandy, Jerez..
