fitnessORLANDO (July 20, 2005) – The award-winning Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando has just completed a floor-to-ceiling overhaul of its on-site workout facility, resulting in a top-notch fitness center for health-conscious guests. This dynamic new facility, which overlooks the pool, now houses the latest in fitness equipment, including twelve state-of-the-art Paramount XL circuit training machines, a plate-loaded Smith Machine and a variety of free weights. Athletic rubber flex flooring has also been installed for better traction, and the décor has been revitalized with ceiling fans and tinted the windows for added privacy and ultraviolet protection.

Full-time physical trainers are on staff to provide group and one-on-one training sessions, incorporating circuit training, nutrition counseling and resista ball training. For after workout indulgence, the adjoining full-service Body & Sol Spa offers a complete array of massages and treatments.

"These days, we're seeing an increasing number of guests who are more health-conscious," says Todd Frappier, director of sales & marketing. "To them, the quality of a hotel's fitness center is just as important as the quality of the rooms and the restaurants. They don't want to break their routine just because they're away from home. With our new facility, they don't have to."

The fitness center improvements are part of multi-million dollar renovation that has taken place at the Rosen Centre over the past year. The hotel's lobby area and casual all-day restaurant, Cafe Gauguin, have also been transformed with new furnishings and artwork as part of the on-going effort.

Located next door to the Orange County Convention Center and just minutes away from the Orlando International Airport and the area's most popular theme parks and attractions, the Rosen Centre caters to business and leisure travelers. Amenities include a full-service concierge desk, high-speed Internet access in all guestrooms, off-site airline check-in and a TSA approved remote skycap service that allows guests to receive their airline boarding passes and check their luggage directly from the hotel. Guests also enjoy discounts and preferred tee times at the award-winning Shingle Creek Golf Club nearby.

The growth of Rosen Hotels & Resorts over the past 31 years has been fueled by numerous hospitality-industry awards, employee longevity and a reputation for quality.
