ORLANDO (Nov. 30, 2005)- Winning awards is nothing new for the Rosen Centre in Orlando, conveniently located adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center, but according to Todd Frappier, the hotel’s Director of Sales and Marketing, amassing industry awards never gets old.

During 2005 alone, the Rosen Centre picked up several repeat awards including the prestigious Gold Key Award from Meetings & Conventions magazine, the Pinnacle Award from Successful Meetings, the Inner Circle Award from Association Meetings, the Merit & Distinction Award from Medical Meetings and the Paragon Award from Corporate Meetings & Incentives.

“It’s always rewarding when we receive acknowledgement from our peers,” said Todd Frappier, Director of Sales & Marketing, Rosen Centre. “We are so appreciative of the meeting planners, association executives and all of our clients who have been loyal to us throughout the years and have supported us in making these awards possible. We plan on continuing to offer meeting planners our superior level of customer service and stellar accommodations so that they, like us, receive award-winning praise from their customers.”

Meeting planners and executives selected the Rosen Centre for these honors based on the hotel’s superior service, superb meeting facilities, variety and quality of amenities and the quality of its food and beverage. These attributes have contributed to the Rosen Centre winning the aforementioned awards numerous times throughout its ten years in business.

Just minutes away from the Orlando International Airport and the area’s most popular theme parks and attractions, Rosen Centre is a multi award-winning hotel that offers 106,000 square feet of sophisticated meeting space, which includes a 35,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom. Rising 24 stories, Rosen Centre features 1,334 deluxe guest rooms. Amenities include a full-service concierge desk, high-speed Internet access in all guest rooms, off-site airline check-in and a TSA approved remote skycap service that allows guests to receive their airline boarding passes and check their luggage directly from the hotel. Guests of Rosen Centre enjoy six restaurants and lounges, as well as the Body & Sol Spa, a newly renovated fitness center featuring state-of-the-art equipment, a heated tropical pool and lighted tennis courts.

Meeting planners have access to Rosen’s Shingle Creek Golf Course, recently named one of the “Top 40 New Courses” by Golfweek magazine. The par 72, David Harman-designed championship course is just minutes from the hotel. Planners can arrange tournaments on the course and corporate group programs with The Brad Brewer Golf Academy.
