ORLANDO (Nov. 13, 2007) – Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Anderson to the corporate sales team.

Anderson will be responsible for driving new business and brand awareness with synergistic sales efforts for the company’s three convention properties, all based in Orlando: Rosen Plaza, Rosen Centre and Rosen Shingle Creek.

As Mid-Atlantic National Sales Manager, Anderson will work the Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia markets in terms of corporate and association business. A 20-year industry veteran, Anderson has a solid background in hotel sales, having served as a director of sales for top worldwide hotel brands including Hyatt, The Ritz-Carlton, and Hilton, working primarily in London, New York and Washington, D.C. Most recently, Anderson served as the Vice President of Sales and Travel Industry Relations for JG Black Book of Travel in New York, where he led a sales team that represented a portfolio of 36 five-diamond properties in cities throughout the United States and Internationally. Prior to that position, Anderson spent five years as the Director of Sales for The Waldorf Towers in New York. He also spent more than a year “across the pond,” as Director of Sales for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in London, following a three-year post as National Sales Manager for the luxury hotel chain in its Washington, D.C. office.

His new post at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is something of a homecoming for Anderson, who began his sales career as a National Sales Manager at the Rosen Plaza and Rosen Centre during pre-opening of both hotels.
